  George BERRINGTON, well known rancher in the Filmore District, was born in Cleveland OH Apr 25 1887 and received his education there. In 1903, at the age of 16, he came to Ventura County and went to work on the Ranch of Collins BROWN. He was married to Miss Maggie McGREGOR, a native of OH and they had four children: Bruce, Albert, Maybelle, and George.
